Our Motto: "All Silk is Not Created Equal."

Silk comes in different qualities but primarily it's based on whether it is wild or domestic. Wild is shorter, more course and fragile, therefore less durable. We use domestic filaments that have incredible strength, length, lustre and absorb dyes beautifully because they are smooth and consistent. Wild (also called raw) is appropriate depending on the intended purpose.
Weight is crucial to long wearing. Our regular silk jacquard (a pattern woven into the fabric) is 16 "momme" - the measurement of weight used for silk. Our solid silk (no pattern) is 8 momme weight. Many scarves on the market are made with 5 or 6 momme weight, which is cheap to produce but does not hold up with use. Our original designs for western shirts require 19 momme charmeuse (a silk satin pronounced "shar - moose") or heavier weight silk fabrics like crepe and dupioni, which lend themselves to beautiful drape and shimmer.
Our silk jacquard fabrics come in two styles - paisley or a "baroque" pattern. The baroque is woven using black warp threads with the color in the weft. So they are two toned and produce a subtle shadow effect. Incredible!
We have the widest selection of "wild rags" that we have ever seen in these many years and have pushed cowboy flamboyance to a new height. We now have silk charmeuse which drapes exquisitely and is in high demand for scarves. Prints include western motifs, colorful cowboy boots, wild florals, subtle flowers, animal prints and polka-dots (about 24 total designs). in addition, we make "burn-out" velvet silk scarves for women.
We machine stitch our scarf edges with a tiny hem - We do NOT hand-stitch because working cowboys have confirmed that our edges will hold up to the rigors of daily use for the long term while others do not.
We custom hand-dye essentially all colors in the spectrum using French silk dyes. This give you the option of a truly uniquely colored garment or scarf. Our scarf size selection is the largest - bar none - as big as 43 inches by 43 inches finished size! Any size up to that is possible, including oblongs. Garments are made to standard sizing or custom made for you personally!
